Meet the Award-winning Author Chantel Acevedo!
Come to the library and meet one of the Sunshine State Young Reader Award Authors, Chantel Acevedo! Her latest middle grade novel, THE CURSE ON SPECTACLE KEY, is a lightly spooky story set in the Florida Keys and is a 2023-2024 SSYRA Award nominee. She is Professor of English at the University of Miami, where she directs the MFA program. She will be visiting all three library branches! So, come with all your questions, favorite parts of the book, and a copy to be signed (if you'd like). If you have any questions, please contact your local library branch for more information.
