Parks that Teach Guided Tour
Take a leisurely walk along Punta Gorda's Parks that Teach corridor. Your tour will be guided by the University of Florida's Master Gardeners.
As you walk, you will view the unique ecosystems of the mangroves, identify trees and shrubs, and learn how these plants can fit into your home landscape. In addition, you will experience the habitats that support many different Florida creatures including alligators, wading birds, turtles, fish, raccoons, and crabs.
The 90-minute tour departs from the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Register here, but walk-ins are most welcome, too!
