Have you thought about any of the trades as a career? You can enjoy good pay, benefits, and rewarding work knowing you’ve helped build or fix something. But, how do you get started?
Explore a Career in the Trades is a free event where representatives from the various trades—carpenters, electricians, construction, etc.—as well as Southern Technical College will be available to share insights about training, skills, apprenticeships, and employment and business creation opportunities within the trades.
A traditional academic curriculum may not be the best fit for everyone, so for those who are handy or have interest in making or fixing things, the trades may offer other gainful career choices.
