Butterfly Gardening: Sara Weber, Education and Training Specialist, Charlotte County Extension Service; Punta Gorda Garden Club representatives
Who doesn't love butterflies? Sometimes referred to as "flying flowers", these colorful garden visitors not only delight the viewer but also play a crucial role in the natural ecosystem. Come learn about the role that you as a gardener can play in enticing them to visit your garden and encouraging the health of butterfly life cycles.
The indoor presentation will be followed by a tour of the new butterfly garden, created by the Punta Gorda Garden Club, adjacent to the library building.
