Edible Science for Kids
Come get your hands a little messy (and a little tasty) as we dig into the science of soil! Young scientists will create their own delicious, layered “dirt” cups while learning what’s really beneath the ground. As we build each layer—from rich topsoil to rocky subsoil— we will discover how soil supports plants, animals, and our everyday lives.
Using sweet treats to represent real earth materials, this hands-on activity makes geology fun, interactive, and easy to understand. It’s the perfect mix of science and creativity with a sweet reward at the end!
